A broad-spectrum, systemic, post-emergence herbicide recommended for use in sugarcane.
HALOZIN combines halosulfuron-methyl 6% and metribuzin 50% in a WG formulation. It is a broad-spectrum, systemic, post-emergence herbicide for sugarcane that provides long-duration weed control through both foliar and soil residual activity, and it is safe to the crop at any stage.
HALOZIN combines two complementary active ingredients: together they block the synthesis of essential amino acids and inhibit photosynthesis in the target weeds. The herbicide is absorbed by leaves and roots and moves through both the xylem and the phloem, and its activity in the soil extends the period of control.
“Broad-spectrum, systemic, post-emergence weed control for sugarcane.”
HALOZIN is used in sugarcane against Eleusine indica, Digitaria sanguinalis, Brachiaria ramosa, Parthenium hysterophorus, Celosia argentea, Alternanthera spp. and Cyperus rotundus, applied at the 3–5 leaf stage of the weeds.
Application rate: 450 g per acre in 150 litres of water.
