A seed treatment fungicide with systemic and contact action against diseases of the seed and soil.
SEMAVIS combines carboxin 37.5% and thiram 37.5% in a WS formulation. It is an all-round seed treatment fungicide whose dual systemic and contact action controls diseases that develop in the seed and the soil, whether they are carried on the outside of the seed or within it.
Applied to the seed before sowing, SEMAVIS protects seeds and emerging seedlings from seed-borne diseases including bunt, loose smut, covered smut, collar rot, charcoal rot, seedling diseases and blight. It also stimulates germination, even in adverse weather conditions.
“Carboxin 37.5% + Thiram 37.5% WS for the protection of seeds and seedlings.”
SEMAVIS is used as a seed treatment in wheat (loose smut), soybean (collar rot and charcoal rot), cotton (root rot and bacterial blight), pigeon pea (seed rot, stem rot, root rot and Fusarium wilt), potato (black scurf) and groundnut (collar rot, seed rot, root rot and stem rot).
Application rate: 2.5 g per kg of seed in cotton, potato and groundnut; 3 g per kg of seed in wheat and soybean; 4 g per kg of seed in pigeon pea.
