CUPRAVIS

CUPRAVIS - Contact Fungicide

A copper-based fungicide that controls fungal as well as bacterial diseases through contact action.

  • Controls both fungal and bacterial diseases
  • Slow release of copper ions for long-lasting control
  • Fine particles that stick to the leaves
  • An ideal fungicide during rains and hailstorms
  • Also supplies copper as a nutrient to the crop

Product Overview

CUPRAVIS contains copper oxychloride 50% WP, a comprehensive fungicide that works against fungal as well as bacterial diseases through contact action. Its fine powder sticks to the leaves and hampers the growth of fungus, and because it dissolves slowly it releases copper ions gradually and keeps diseases under control for a long time.

How It Works

CUPRAVIS acts as a contact protectant. Copper bonds strongly to amino acids and carboxyl groups in the target organism and inactivates the sulfhydryl groups of its enzymes. Spores actively accumulate copper, which stops them from germinating.
